I love these days when the winter is coming and you can feel the Christmas cold. It means Santa will be arriving shortly.

For the travelers who will be in Barcelona the coming months, we have very good news. There are a lot of markets where you can have a good time and find local & handmade souvenirs. There is something magical when you find the perfect gift in a little corner of Barcelona after looking for it for a long time…

This is our selection of the markets for the coming winter in Barcelona and some of the lovely gifts you will find there.


Fira de Santa Llúcia
The traditional fair with everything you need for Christmas. From 28th november until 23th December at the Avinguda de la Catedral.
Don’t forget to buy the “caganer” the most popular figurine depicted in the act of defecation appearing in nativity scenes in Catalonia.

We love Cats Market
The perfect market for Cat LoversWe love Cats Market is a beneficial craft market in support of abandoned cats from Barcelona. There you can find a selection of handmade products and designers. On the 29th and 30th of November from 11:00 till 20:00 at Crec.

La Fábrica Singular
Showroom of creative designers at Fábrica Moritz, the historical factory of the Moritz beer. On Friday 5th of December from 20.00 to 23.00h; and 6th and 7th of December from 12.00 till 22.00.

Palo Alto Market
Live music, eco-fashion, design, food trucks, jewelry, vintage furniture… in a open air space in Poblenou.On the 6th and 7th of December from 11.00 till 20.00.

Festivalet is an independent fair showcasing a curated selection of unique hand-made products with a delicatessen area where you can enjoy local food and other food proposals. On the 13th and 14th of December from 11.00 till 20.00 at El Museu Marítim in Barcelona. Entrance fee is 1€ (free for kids under 12 years).

Fantastic Handmade 
Showroom of creators on Esty Barcelona. Sunday 21 of December from 11.00 till 21.00 at the historical building of the University of Barcelona (Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes 585).
