Museu Picasso

It is a museum dedicated solely to the works of Pablo Picasso. Pablo Picasso was a Spanish artist and lived half of his life in Barcelona. This museum holds a collection of most of his artworks during his stay in the city, which amounts to a total of 4250 paintings of Picasso! The museum was established in the year 1963.
The paintings are spread across 5 buildings which have been in existence since the 13th century.

Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya

Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya or National Art Museum of Catalonia is a museum that showcases visual art. The museum is most famous for the collection of painting of the Romanesque church. Along with these, there are many famous and unique artworks and designs of Catalan artistry. While many of these artworks come from the 20th century, some of the paintings also have been around since the 19th century.

It is a museum that features modern art in the honor of Joan Miro. These new modernist artworks can also be found featured in the museum.
